Global warming is a gradual increase in the Earth’s temperature, which is now becoming a threat to all forms of life on our planet. As the Earth’s temperature gets warmer each year, weather patterns have become inconsistent, making day-to-day life a challenge for humans and driving many species into extinction. Artist Huong designed the Global Warming Mural, which stems from the Gulf BP Oil Spill mural that she designed in 2010.
Both murals include an artistic arrangement of panels created to illustrate the environmental devastation that global warming is causing on our planet. It also expresses many of the effects of global warming that are unknown by the public. The mural includes the quotes, thoughts, and ideas of individuals and groups that are a part of the global movement to stop climate change. It helps to educate the public on an issue that has been ignored for far too long.
